1961 Rice Marine Custom 36 Charter/Tuna for sale in Fairhaven, Massachusetts

$45,000

The seller of this tuna rig stated to this POP representative in person that she was completely restored to USCG Specs from 2000 to 2002. Why do I take his word for it Because he's a gentleman and he showed me extensive hard copy folders with estimates, invoices, previous owner notes and logs, current owner logs, dozens of images and a CG Stability Letter. Buyers please note that the significance of the rebuild can not be over-stated. The entirely new deck (please see images with captions) sits above the refurbished bottom consisting of 52 mahogany planks. This 1961 Chesapeake Bay style Rice Marine designed Custom tuna (or any other fish) boat has had over six figures worth of rebuilding and improvements (2) which readers will become aware of as they read the following description and condition. But the proof is in the pudding.....this 'must-see' masterpiece has to be seen in person to truly appreciate it. It should be noted that images 190 through 200 were provided by seller for the purposes of demonstrating the well-kept condition until this POP rep stepped aboard. Also, images 201 through 222 were provided by the seller and the reconstruction teams listed at the end of this description. This is the typical seating arrangement you would find on a small Party boat. If someone wanted this boat set up for a 6-Pack business, the bench seating is the way to go.
